St. Marys CYO Basketball of East Islip and Islip is a youth organization providing travel basketball teams for Girls and Boys grades 4th through 8th grade for the upcoming season of the official CYO Basketball Program of Nassua and Suffolk county on Long Island. In Season Information regarding Upcoming Girls Season
Registration for Girls 5th through 8th grade for the 2024/2025 season will be taken from August 25th through September 24th. Depending on registration numbers there will be one team created per grade, multiple teams, or no teams. If more then 10 kids in a grade signup, there will be a tryout in the beginning of October. Followed by a 10 game season from Mid-October through Mid-January.
Any tryouts necessary for any Girls teams in 2024 will take place Saturday September 28th at 401 Main Street. Islip Town Hall West. From 5-9pm. Coaches will reach out with specific times.

Registration for Boys 5th through 8th grade for the 2024/2025 season will be taken from September 24th through October 25th. Depending on registration numbers there will be one team created per grade, multiple teams, or no teams. If more then 10 kids in a grade signup, there will be a tryout in the beginning of November. Followed by a 10 game season from Mid-November through Mid-February.
How to register
Simply call or text Tom McDougall at 347-245-4539. I will take down your child's name, grade, school they attend, date of birth, and email. The league fee is $225 if you need a jersey and shorts. It is $160 if you have the jersey/short combo already from last season. Registration fees will be collected after your child is placed on a team.
Practices and Games
Games will be once a week on the weekend and your team will have about a 1 to 1 and half hour practice during the week. We have about 14 hours of practice time to work with between all teams. We have Monday Nights at RCK, Tuesday and Thursday Nights at JFK, Timberpoint, and the Middle School, and occasionally 401 Main Street.
Our home games are at the Town Hall of Islip at 401 Main Street.
